Accelerating Worldwide Evangelism and Discipleship Through Equipping, Resourcing and Consulting National Leaders SOS International is committed to equipping, resourcing, and consulting with national leaders so they might realize the mission and vision the Lord of the Church has called them to accomplish. To fulfill this commitment, we invite mature, experienced, and prepared leaders overseas to meet the training needs of our Christian co-workers. Equipped and growing leaders develop growing ministries that impact communities, states, and nations. SOS International’s mission is to insure overseas leaders have the training they request from qualified trainers and teachers. SOS is also an efficient channel of relief disbursed to and through national churches and Christian organizations for the purpose of meeting their physical and material needs and to increase the Churches’ redemptive potential in their communities. SOS has sent more than 800 missionaries to over 80 countries since 1979God has prepared gifted leaders to “equip the saints for the work of ministry for the building up of the Body of Christ.” This principle applies not only to local churches, but also more universally to the worldwide Church. Experienced, mature, and prepared "equippers", have a global responsibility to pass on to their less equipped co-workers what God has put on deposit with them through their own educational and ministry experiences. Many of these trainers are local church pastors, staff members, writers, professors, and lay leaders who not only meet the needs of national Christians, but also enrich their own personal ministries and further their church’s fulfillment of the Great Commission. SOS serves as the link that makes the vital connection between national Christian leaders and gifted and experienced trainers..
